It is like visiting someone’s home, a someone who has fulfilled their dream of lining every wall in their house with well stocked bookshelves. Many people were enjoying the comfort and meeting friends for a chat in a relaxed, dog and book-lover friendly space. I look forward to visiting Roebling again. “ It looks small when you first walk in. But use your eyes - there are multiple rooms that just keep going. It’s not just a coffee shop with a small lobby. It’s a giant bookstore with a coffee shop. My wife is the reader and the coffee drinker and she thoroughly enjoyed herself!! ”

“ A diamond in the rough, I walked across the bridge to seek this gem. I'd only heard of the cafe, so on a lazy Sat afternoon, I managed to catch a mild day for a walk and found it. It's as if you went over your favorite Auntie's house, and they happened to also be a retired professor. That faint smell of used books and strong coffee permeates the air. Though compact, the space is larger than it seems. And while I enjoyed the atmosphere, I would not recommend wanting to stay and carry on too deep of a conversation. Once several voices get going, it can be difficult to pay attention to the conversation you're supposed to be focusing on! All in all, it was well worth the walk. And the service of the baristas was top notch. I just listened to them take an order and give a suggestion to someone, and I wanted to tip them! Good people, a great spot. You'll feel right at home. ”

“ The first time I stepped into this bookstore, I was immediately greeted at the front door where they were serving coffee and tea. I was impressed by the open spaces and the spacious rooms with desks for reading and writing. Each desk comes equipped with plugs for your laptop, if needed. I would highly suggest going on a Saturday morning when it's calm and there are a lot of spaces available. Enjoy! ”

“ Giving 5 stars for our experience as it was good and the space is lovely. We did, however, just barely beat the rush and the people behind us had to wait a pretty long time for coffee as the entry area packed up quick and was difficult to move through. There’s three or four tables of space to hang out and read or work, but it’s first come first serve on those spaces and they filled up quick. The book selection is good and it’s a niche shop - fun to walk through and check out! The coffee was good and our service was pretty quick, but the two people staffed were hustling to try and make sure the 10-12 people behind us didn’t walk out the door because it got so busy! ”
